The Dosimeter BV-DSH-304 is designed for effective radioactive detection in ore-containing materials and in environments such as electronic accelerator irradiation areas with cobalt sources. It operates across a wide energy range, detecting X and gamma radiation from 40 keV to 3.0 MeV, and beta radiation from 0.5 to 3.0 MeV. The device features an automatic fault detection system and accurately measures gamma and beta radiation dose rates from background levels to higher intensities. It is equipped with a digital LCD display with backlight, showing measurement units, low battery alerts, and error notifications. Additionally, it measures surface flux density of both soft and hard beta particles, supports threshold level settings, and provides real-time readings. A magnifying tube enables rapid detection and precise localization of radiation sources within seconds. The unit includes a built-in Geiger-Muller counter sensitive to both gamma and beta radiation.
The dosimeter is widely used in nuclear facilities for environmental radiation monitoring, as well as for detecting radiation on soil surfaces and in agricultural areas affected by radioactive contamination. It is suitable for measuring beta and gamma radiation in medical radiation treatment environments. Additionally, it is applied in the inspection of ore-based building materials for radioactive content and is effective for radiation detection in electronic accelerator irradiation sites using cobalt sources.
